What is AMSA at UCLA?

American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is one of the biggest pre-medical organizations at UCLA. We help students through the pre-medical process by advising them of the rigors and requirements of premedical curriculum at UCLA and creating opportunities, such as research and volunteering.

Why should I become an AMSA National member? What are the benefits? 

Aside from the vast opportunities that AMSA national provides to members, we also give priority to AMSA national members for opportunities on campus, including Pediatric Continuity Clinic, Project White Coat, and other events. Are there general fees for AMSA at UCLA?

Yes, each year, we expect members to pay a $10 general club fee. You can pay @AMSAbruins via Venmo at the start of each school year or make a one-time payment for your years at UCLA. You will receive a confirmation email when we have received your payment.

• 1 year: $10

• 2 year: $20

• 3 year: $30

• 4 year: $40

 

With national membership (Active UCLA AMSA Chapter + National Member):

• 1 year: $85

• 2 year: $95

• 3 year: $105

• 4 year: $115

 

How can I become an AMSA national member?

In order to become a national member, pre-medical students must pay a one-time $75 fee. You can Venmo @AMSAbruins. You will receive a confirmation email from our membership coordinator along with your membership log-in and number. This should provide you access to all the benefits and offers of AMSA national. 

 

How do I join AMSA at UCLA?
